Young The Admission Department
provides services Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Area Case
Manager and Director of Admission Services are available on-call for
consultation as needed on Saturday and Sunday. The Nursing Supervisor acts as
back up to the department after-hours, weekends and holidays for pre-admission
assessments and coordination of the admission process. Visiting hours are from
11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Cardiopulmonary Department at Kindred Hospital South
around-the-clock care by licensed respiratory care practitioners who specialize
in keeping you breathing healthier! Inpatient and Outpatient services, which
include breathing treatments, long and short-term ventilator care, oxygen

Kindred Hospital South Bay Center for Wound Management is an outpatient clinic dedicated to the
treatment of chronic non-healing wounds. A multi-specialty team of dedicated
physicians and nurses work together to develop a plan to manage and treat these
wounds. Each patient receives a specific treatment plan based on the etiology

Pharmacy provides a
comprehensive array of clinical services to support the medical staff:
We provide contract CT, MRI,
Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound services as well as in-house diagnostic
procedures. Our department is equipped
with a new CR/PAC’s system and is staffed with qualified Radiologists and
certified Radiologic Technologists. Our
“OEC 9800 Plus” C-arm (mobile fluoroscopy) is an excellent source for
out-patient pain management cases. Our
department is open Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to
5:30 p.m. Call services are provided to
cover afterhours, weekends and Holidays.
Rehabilitation services are
provided in response to the physical, psychosocial and economical needs of the
resident population--regardless of race, color, age or disability on a continuous
basis, as appropriate to the condition of the patient. The Rehabilitation services
hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Services are provided Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.. The patients served are the medically
complex, acutely ill population that requires intensive Case management. The Case Managers and Social Workers act as
liaisons between the family, patients, and staff.
The Case Management
department facilitates weekly team conferences between family/patient and
interdisciplinary team for updates on patient’s clinical status, plan of care,
interventions, goals, weekly progress and discharge planning. Also, we provide assistance for
families/patients with placement, equipment, support services, referral to
community agencies, emotional and psychosocial needs.
